School Update Readiness
Automatic calendar changes are disabled.
This check only previews preparation. It does not change events or run a school source check.
Free themes for this browser only; shared by people using it. Sports-inspired colors are not official team themes.
These color themes are private to your family and included at no charge. Your choice is saved for you in this browser.
Email sign-in is available to approved staging testers only. Links expire after 15 minutes.
Use the account email and recovery key you saved earlier. This signs out older sessions, cancels unused email links, and disconnects Home Displays you created. Your email address stays unchanged. The key works once; create a replacement after signing in.
Enter the four-digit PIN your parent gave you.
Ask a parent for help if your link or PIN no longer works. Five attempts are allowed per 15 minutes.
Allowance and individual-note updates for you and your household. Enable device alerts below to receive updates on your phone too.
Get a private alert for individual notes and allowance schedule changes. Details stay inside the app.
On iPhone or iPad (iOS 16.4 or later), add this commercial app to your Home Screen and open it there first. Alerts stop when you sign out or your login expires. After signing in again, enable this device again.
Lost a phone or computer? Sign in on a trusted device with a new email link, then sign out your other devices below. This keeps this browser signed in across your family Hives.
Other signed-in sessions and their device alerts will stop. Unused sign-in links already emailed to you will stop working. Home Displays have separate access: disconnect a lost display under Manage Household → Home Displays.
For a child, a parent can pause the account or reset the PIN and access link under Children's Accounts. A saved recovery key can restore access if you lose email access. It does not change your email address or secure a compromised inbox.
Create a key now and store it in your password manager or another safe place. Anyone with this key and your account email can sign in. We show it only once and cannot retrieve it later. Creating a replacement invalidates the previous key.
Use the email the invitation was addressed to. Only accept invitations you expect.
Missing a team calendar? Tell The Hive team what you would like added. We are prioritizing North American sports before international leagues. Requests do not guarantee coverage.
Copied from Jones Family Home for testing. Child access starts paused; use the child account controls to set fresh PINs and access links. Mom’s profile does not yet have a sign-in.
Parents decide whether pronouns appear for each adult or child. Nothing is shown by default. These choices do not change anyone’s permissions.
Your family is permanently free for all current and future features and add-ons. No payment method is needed.
Checkout is handled by Stripe. The Hive does not collect card numbers.
Stripe test mode: use test payment details only. This does not create a paid family plan.
A payment method is required. After 7 days, your subscription automatically renews as Basic for USD $3.99 per month unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Cancel or manage your plan through Stripe. You can upgrade to Premium for USD $7.99 per month.
Plan changes appear after Stripe confirms them. Returning from checkout does not confirm payment.
Removing an adult or parent ends their access to this Hive and disconnects Home Displays they created. Pending invitations they sent or received here are cancelled, and their recurring allowance schedules are stopped. Saved events, posts and financial history remain. Their access to other Hives is unchanged. A new parent invitation is required to rejoin; old adult permissions are not restored.
Save your calendar, meals, recipes, lists, notes, chores, allowance history and other family records as a JSON file, including archived items. Available after your trial ends. Photos and individual poll votes are excluded. This is a data export, not a backup you can restore.
Parents control names, PIN resets, and account access. Children cannot change settings, create households, or accept adult invitations.
Adult members start with no management permissions. Only parents can change these permissions or manage children and invitations.
Staging email sign-in is restricted to the approved tester. Additional testers need a verified sender and explicit setup. These links are not emailed automatically.
Monitoring checks official sources. Automatic calendar changes are not enabled here yet.
Times below use this device’s time zone. Refresh Status reads saved results; it does not run a source check.
Read official updates and mark the versions you have seen. This does not approve dates or change your calendar.

Approve exact school PDF versions separately from marking reviews as seen. Approval does not change calendar events.
Calendar changes remain disabled. These controls prepare school checks for a later update.

Automatic calendar changes are disabled.
This check only previews preparation. It does not change events or run a school source check.
This records a parent choice only. Calendar events, automatic updates and existing blocks stay unchanged.
Saving a choice does not approve school documents.

Choose calendars for each screen. Anyone near it can read the selected event titles and times, including personal calendars you select.
Display links work once, expire in 10 minutes, and give view-only access for 90 days. Connect them on the screen you want to use, not your parent device.
Choose a theme, language, and screen-awake setting for this browser.
A parent has not granted access to these features yet.
Your plans, your progress, and more time together.
Only information available to your account is shown.
Your available features are below.
Parents choose who receives each reminder. Enable Device Notifications on each recipient’s device. Alerts can arrive a few minutes after the chosen time.
Repeating events use this reminder for the entire series. Individually edited occurrences need their own reminder. All-day events use 9:00 AM in your household time zone; “24 hours before” means 24 elapsed hours before that time. A time skipped by daylight saving receives no alert; a repeated time uses its first occurrence.
Mark a chore complete to send it for approval. Stars are earned only after approval.
Record payments you make outside the app. Selecting Greenlight or Venmo does not transfer money.
Pause keeps earlier earnings and skips future credits. Resume continues the original schedule after today, without catch-up for paused dates. Any credit due on the day you pause is earned first. An optional Resume On date reactivates automatically on that date, including any regularly scheduled credit due that day. Blank means paused until manually resumed. Stop permanently ends a schedule.
Renaming or deleting a custom method affects future payments only. Earlier payments keep their recorded method.
Children can request items. Parents approve requests, add items directly, and mark purchases.
Shows the latest 100 history items. Archived items stay in history.
Select only items you need. Quantities are copied as written; the app does not combine units or check pantry stock. Matching active item/quantity pairs are skipped. Children's selections become requests for parent approval.
Share with the parents and children in your hive.
Events visible to you from the last 30 days through the next 30 days.
Keep plants thriving together. Parents set care routines; assigned care appears in Chores, where completion can earn approved stars and allowance.
AI suggestions can be wrong. Review the identity, light, soil and season before scheduling. Never use a photo identification to decide whether a plant is safe to eat or safe for children or pets.
Uses your trial or Premium AI allowance. Manual plant care is available with Basic. Up to 20 photo requests per parent each day.
Track what is on hand in your pantry, refrigerator or freezer. Parents update stock; children can view it. Shopping purchases do not automatically change stock.
Parents set family rules for a child. Children see only their own restrictions. This records rules; it does not block devices, apps or internet access.
Children manage their own wishes. Parents can see and manage every list. Saving a wish does not buy anything.
These are read-only copies from Jones Family Home. Changes in the original app do not sync here. Original list sharing is preserved; being a parent does not reveal another parent’s private list.
Keep household instructions and reminders together. Parents can share with the family, keep a note for parents, or address it to one person. Individual notes are visible to that person and all household parents. Individual notes alert the recipient and other parents in Notifications. Enabled devices receive a private alert without note text. No email is sent.
Parents ask a question; parents and children can each save one vote and change it while the poll is open. Results show totals and your own choice, not a list of who voted. This is not a secret ballot.
Ask about appointments, plan events or dinners, add shopping or recipe ingredients, draft an allowance credit, or (parents only) create and read notes. Review before saving. Children send suggestions to parents for approval.
Tap to talk uses your browser’s speech service, which may process audio online. Review the words before sending.
Parent requests use OpenAI when connected. Children use local commands unless a parent explicitly enables external AI for ages 13–17.
Saved notes, calendar records, balances and age are not sent to OpenAI. Your typed or dictated request, including any new note text, is sent when AI is connected.
Parents can review child suggestions.

With AI connected, use natural wording such as tomorrow. Local commands use the exact formats above. Replace example dates with your intended dates. If details are missing, send a new complete request.
Check the destination, details and expiry. Child suggestions are sent to parents for approval.
Off by default for each child. Age presets are suggestions you can change; they do not automatically change as a child grows. Every child suggestion needs parent approval. Children cannot add allowance or change these controls.
External AI is a separate option for ages 13–17. If enabled, the child’s request text is sent to OpenAI. Their age, calendar records and balances are not sent. Younger children use local commands. Voice input may still use your browser’s online speech service. Parents can see suggestions and approvals below.
Last 100 suggestions. Child previews expire after 24 hours; parent previews after five minutes. Changing child controls invalidates earlier suggestions.
Help improve The Hive: report a problem, request a feature, or tell us what works well.
Ask a parent to send feedback or feature ideas for your family.
Your submission goes to The Hive team and stays visible to you. Please leave out passwords, private family details and children’s personal information. We do not attach calendar data, photos or device logs. This is not an emergency service.
Private team view. Planned ideas are not a delivery promise.
